REQUIREMENTS & CONSIDERATIONS
ALL Applicants Must Attain Preapproval Letter prior to applying for UhomePBC home assistance grant.

Applicants must be working with a Florida REALTOR in Palm Beach county.

Applicants must have attained a pre-qualification letter from a qualified lender to demonstrate financial capacity. CLICK HERE

Disability Status: Applicants need to have a recognized physical disability documented by legal authorities or licensed medical provider.

Income Eligibility: Applicants must meet income eligibility guidelines. ($68,874+ Annually) CLCK HERE

Homeownership Readiness: Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to homeownership and the ability to maintain a stable living environment. This includes attending homeownership education programs. Provide proof of homeownership course attendance. CLICK HERE

First -Time Homebuyers: Applicants must be first-time homebuyers with a disability. Applicants must not have owned AND occupied a property as their primary residence for the last three years prior to purchase.

Documentation: Applicants must submit any and all necessary documentation, including disability verifications, proof of incomes, and other requested paperwork.

Commitment to Stay: Applicants must commit to residing in the purchased home for a reasonable period, not less than five years. Selling the property within the five years requires repayment of the grant.

Legal Residency: Applicant must be Florida legal residents and citizens of the United States.

Down Payment or Closing Costs Assistance: UhomePBC grant is solely intended to assist with purchasing a primary residence in Palm Beach County.

Approval of the Grant Committee: Eligibility and grant approval are determined by UhomePBC's grant committee.

Compliance With Local Laws: Applicants need to adhere to Florida housing laws, regulations, and fair housing guidelines.
